2. Commission type - i.e. 1 flat full body + 1 additional character.
3. References – as many as you can (i.e. sketch, 3d model, moodboard, photo, etc.).
4. Background type – by default can be a simple or implied background (free of charge). Detailed backgrounds include additional fees depending on complexity. Background options and pricing listed below:

5. Info ABOUT your character - if applicable: personality, relationship dynamics, lore, etc. Poses are up to me by default. If you have a specific pose, then include reference. If you have no preference, you can suggest ideas.
6. Any other additional info - props, palette colors, a deadline, preferred email you want the invoice to be sent to, etc.

OTHER NOTES/REMINDERS

  • Prices are USD and paid through PayPal invoice. No exceptions. Invoices are sent to the email addresses I'm contacted with. Let me know if you want to use a different email.

  • If the character you’re commissioning is someone I’m familiar with (such as fanarts I’ve done), include references if they have specific details in mind (i.e. outfits, AU details, etc).

  • Max number of commission slots is 3. This max can be negotiated depending on your circumstance (i.e. paying for a friend as well).

  • These commissions are for NONCOMMERCIAL USE. DO NOT use your commission for commercial/monetary reasons, such as re-selling, altering, and creating physical items off my artwork.

  • ⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT send me a commission through my DMs on any social media platform, it will be hard for me to keep track of and communicate my progress to you.

  • ⚠️ YOU HAVE A WEEK TO PAY ME IN FULL. If you don't pay within a week after approval, your commission will be cancelled. Everyone has their circumstances, but please be mindful of my time and other clients who would like a slot.

  • ⚠️ YOU AGREE TO MY TERMS OF SERVICE by commissioning me. Violation of and failure to comply to of my terms of service and conditions will result in a warning before escalating my actions deemed necessary.

ADDITIONAL NOTES...

  • MY ART STYLE FLUCTUATES A LOT. If there's a preferred brush and/or coloring style you've seen me use, then let me know! Otherwise, the brush I use is whatever I've recently been using and the coloring style will be simple.

  • I WILL DENY your commission if I'm mostly given word descriptions.

  • I DO NOT accept commercial commissions as of right now. My commissions are for noncommercial purposes.

  • DRASTIC CHANGES to your commission are possible during the roughs stage but not in later stages (line art, coloring, etc.). Minor changes are allowed throughout each stage.

  • IN TERMS OF COMPLEXITY, if I'm not given enough references, I will SIMPLIFY what was asked/provided for me (i.e. simplifying armor/intricate details due to lack of references).

  • COMMISSIONS ARE DONE BY SLOTS. If you order 1 commission, you've blocked in 1 slot (max slots: 3). The max can be negotiated depending on your circumstances.

PRICING & PAYMENT

  • Prices are USD and paid through PayPal invoice. No exceptions. You can pay a PayPal invoice as a guest. Invoices will be sent to the email I was contacted with. Let me know if you want to use another email.

  • I will only start on your commission after I ACCEPT the commission and have been PAID IN FULL FIRST.

  • You will have up to a week to PAY ME IN FULL upon getting your commission approved. If you don't pay within a week, your commission will be cancelled. Please wait for the next commission cycle to claim a slot. If you are repeatedly late to pay me, I won't accept commissions from you.

  • Clients are responsible for any conversation rates.

  • Additional fees may be added depending on your commission's complexity, add-ons, and/or other factors.

  1. HAS ADD-ONS (i.e. extra character(s), sketch page has a monochrome add-on, extra prop, is colored in a specific style, etc.). Prices for add-ons are dependent on the commission type.

  2. HAS COMPLICATED DETAILS (+30-80% of base commission price). Complicated details include complex armor design, vehicles, weapons, pets larger than the character, etc.

  3. INCLUDES A DETAILED BACKGROUND (+$30-150+). Detailed backgrounds are possible for all commission types except page commissions and chibi icons. Depending on references and level of detail, the fee will be from +$30-150+ and may include complexity fees. By default, simple and implied backgrounds are FREE.

  4. REQUIRES ME TO DESIGN THE CHARACTER FOR YOU. If given only reference images, it will be an additional fee of +50-100% of the base price, depending on the complexity. If given a loose sketch, it will be around +$40-100, but if the sketch/details required is relatively simple, additional fees won’t be included. Additional complexity fees may apply.

  5. HAS A DEADLINE. 50% fee is added to the base price if due in 1-2 months. 100% fee for less than 1 month. This MUST be disclosed to me when you send me a form. You cannot negotiate a deadline once the commission process starts.

COMMISSION PROCESS

  1. Commission process will start after approval of commission and invoice is paid. Commissions will take a few weeks up to a few months to complete since I am also working on other projects.

  2. When starting, thumbnails of pose ideations are offered to you. If provided pose reference, a rough sketch will be drawn instead.

  3. After approval of thumbnail/rough pose, updates are given on each stage (refined sketch, line art, colors). I will not move on until I addressed feedback and/or your approval. Major changes are possible when thumbnailing rough poses, but not after. Minor changes are possible in every stage (i.e. facial expression, minor limb positions, slight additions/changes to clothing details).

  4. Once finished, a full resolution, unwatermarked version is provided for personal/private uses. A lower resolution, watermarked version will be sent for you to post/share the artwork online. These are emailed to you.

  5. A declined commission can be revised to provide necessary information I need, and/or have its details negotiated more suitable for my skill set. However, if I completely deny your commission, or am too uncomfortable with it, please commission a different artist.

RIGHTS, OWNERSHIP & USAGE

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission and/or clients involved in blockchain activities, NFTs, A.I. technologies, and anything similar.

  • All artworks drawn by me are still considered my copyright.

  • Owners retain their rights and ownership to their characters depicted in the commissioned artwork.

  • I have the right to post and use the commissioned work for my social media platforms, advertisements, and portfolio.

  • Clients must credit me with a DIRECT tag linked to one of my social media handles if they post their commission online (i.e. @xuune, @_kaiihua).

  • Do not improperly credit me (i.e. "credit to the artist" or "credit to @/_kaiihua, @/xuune"). It's rude to not directly tag me.

  • Client's usage of the commission is listed below:

Claim the commissioned art as your own artwork.Use your commission for icons, banners, wallpapers, headers, etc. Credit me if using publicly on social media.
Remove my watermark.Post it on your account, wherever you want. Credit me.
Sell the commissioned piece.Use it for personal printing (i.e. printing it out and framing it on your wall or anything similar).
Reproduce it for commercial purposes. These commissions are for NONCOMMERCIAL USE. 
Alter the commissioned piece, including handing the commission off to another artist for additional details (i.e. adding a detailed background, altering/adding colors, etc). 
Use my art for any A.I. training and generation purposes. 

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

  • If at any point I feel like I am no longer qualified to continue the commission, or due to other reasons, I will refund the payment. Reasons may include: personal life reasons, poor communication, rude/inappropriate behavior. Refund will either be in full, or 50% of the original payment if it was completed halfway.

  • Refunds won't be accepted for commissions past base colors, is 70% done, or is a sketch commission. Sketch pages aren't refundable if more than 50% of the character(s) was drawn.

  • Refunds are accepted if base colors weren't started and/or if 50% of the commission was completed. You will receive a partial refund of 50% the original payment.

  • I do not accept chargebacks or disputes.

PROHIBITED BLOCKCHAIN & A.I. USE

  • I have the right to decline clients involved in blockchain activities, NFTs, A.I. technologies, and anything similar.

  • I prohibit clients from using my work in blockchain-related and/or A.I. technologies (i.e. NFTs, cryptocurrency, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.).

  • I do not approve of my artwork being used to train A.I. and other related technology.

By default, shaded commissions are colored simplistically. However, if you’re familiar with my work and want me to use a particular shading style of mine, then let me know (+ provide an image/link)!
